We are seeking a seasoned VP, Technology to craft and deliver innovative, personalized digital experiences that push boundaries, leverage AI, and integrate seamlessly across enterprise platforms. You will bridge marketing and IT, guiding clients on maximizing their technology investments while collaborating with UX, creative, strategy, and digital product teams globally. Your expertise in managing government digital platforms, ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement will be instrumental in this role. You will also play a key role in business growth initiatives, working with career-defining brands in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
- Technology Expertise: Lead end-to-end marketing technology solutions, including Content/Experience Management, CRM/Marketing Automation, Commerce, and personalization platforms (CDPs).
- Government Platforms: Collaborate with government organizations; experience with FedRAMP, government clouds (Salesforce, AWS/Azure) is a strong plus.
- Technical Oversight: Expertise in mobile application development (Ionic), Cloud Engineering (REST, Lambda, AWS), and CRM platforms (Braze).
- Operational Excellence: Establish and refine operational procedures for marketing automation stacks, ensuring SLA adherence and continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships with technology partners.
- Client Strategy: Provide strategic guidance on marketing technology ecosystems (Salesforce, Adobe, Sitecore, MACH) to achieve business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and oversee a diverse technology team, including architects, developers, BAs, CRM consultants, and technical project managers.
- Business Development: Identify and close new opportunities to grow the client base and expand service offerings.
- Industry Leadership: Stay at the forefront of marketing technology trends, incorporating Machine Learning and AI innovations into strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with leadership, clients, and partners, delivering compelling presentations and strategic insights.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in marketing technology consulting or a related field.
- Expertise in Adobe, Salesforce, Braze, MACH, and Sitecore ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of composable and headless marketing technology, operating models, and adoption strategies.
- In-depth understanding of DXPs, CMS, CRM, CDPs, loyalty programs, eCommerce, and AI/ML technologies.
- T-shaped thinker with experience in CX, UX, and business strategy; agency experience is a plus.
- Product-centric mindset, proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Proven success in business development and team leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
- Must reside in the New York City metro area.
