GENERAL SUMMARY

Review and analyze the business processes of the branch and back-office functions and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Work with management and business units to plan, organize, and deploy various Operations projects. With the research and analytics team, provide level 2 escalation support for the resolution of system issues.

Responsible for identifying and recommending improvements to products or workflows, and the implementation of approved enhancements. Responsible for User Acceptance Testing for enhancements and updates of product and fee components. Work with Operations on procedure development and deployment. Work as part of the Operations Team for Acquisition and Branching projects. Perform Bank control review and updates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Support Business Units reporting needs by gathering and analyzing data using Business Intelligence (BIC) for the purpose of identifying solutions for strategic business needs and/or operational requirements.
  • Design and develop reports using Business Intelligence (BIC) to support the operations department in meeting operational and strategic reporting requirements.
  • Maintain a library of model reports for various types of recurring or repetitive information gathering. Validate the integrity of reporting models and make changes as required.
  • Participate in the planning and management of small to moderate scope projects, including the associated project documentation.
  • Conduct vendor/system analysis. Provide support for the development of proposals for new operational functionality within the system and/or new or expanded vendor relationships.
  • Assist with all aspects of systems related requests, including system testing and documentation.
  • Be proficient in the essential functions of the Bank Control Administrator, as it relates to making specific types of changes to the system, such as rate changes, new products, and fee updates, etc. Act as the back-up for these functions as required.
  • Submit service requests and project scoping documents to IBS Support for deployment or project evaluations. Track and validate IBS output and solutions.
  • Act as liaison between Operations and the IBS Support Department and/or Internal IT for purposes of problem resolution.



QUALIFICATIONS



  • Education: College Graduate, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in banking/financial services. Project management training or education helpful. IBS Deposit System knowledge including familiarity with BIC, TellerInsight, Sales Management and Deposit Origination functionality. System testing experience required. Good understanding of banking and branch operations. Understanding of acquisition, relocation and denovo branch processes, including project management, mapping, testing/validation, balancing, as well as the documentation of the various components.
  • Skills/Ability:

    • Analytical approach to research. Good understanding of project management concepts. Good organizational skills. Ability to communicate with staff at all levels. PC proficient, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Familiarity with branch and back-office functions, systems and related policies and procedures and regulatory issues.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Strong analytical thinking along with written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must show initiative, be self-motivated, and adapt well to a changing environment.
    • Must be committed to seeking opportunities for improvement and achieve results despite challenges.





OTHER DETAILS

$75K - $95K / year
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
