Position: Defensive Systems Missile ITEAMs Lead Location: Huntsville, AL Job Type: Full-time Job Description: IS4S is seeking an experienced Defensive Systems Missile ITEAMs Lead to support nationally important activities. The successful candidate will lead a team performing all-source missile analysis of interceptors associated with air defense systems. This includes detailed analysis of missile subsystems including propulsion, aerodynamics, propulsion, guidance, navigation and integrated RF and EOIR seekers. Typical activities include: Working closely with the customer to understand needs and deliver quality products that accomplish their mission; Coordinating multiple analysis tasks and staff performing analysis including dynamic prioritization of resources throughout the task; Reviewing and directing staff and subcontractors, as well as working with other industry team mates, that are collectively contributing to and providing products expected by the customer; Leading quick-look analysis preparation and detailed intelligence-based reports on systems under study; Supporting analysis by providing experience engineering insight that leads analysis efforts; Interviewing and supporting the hiring of key staff to support this mission. Candidates should enjoy supporting Government customers in leading and managing tasks that are highly technical in nature and providing deliverables with a high level of rigor expected by the customers. Though the position will be an addition to an existing team, candidates are expected to be self-driven problem solvers capable of operating independently on some tasks. Candidates must have strong analytical and communication skills. Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Candidate must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph. Applicants must clearly state citizenship and any active clearance in a cover letter or on the resume. Required Experience and Skills: BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years of experience Experience with understanding of ground-to-air missile systems and subsystems Experience supporting the intelligence community on ITEAMS efforts Ability to mentor and provide task leadership Desired Experience and Skills: Prior leadership experience over teams of teams. Prior experience establishing teams and supporting program transitions. Broad technical experience of all missile subsystems and specific SME experience in one or more subsystem areas.
