The lab studies a variety of physical and chemical processes of materials with a focus on materials transformations and dynamic phenomena at solid-liquid and solid-liquid-gas interfaces. The current research topics include nucleation, growth and transformations of materials, solid-liquid (electrode-electrolyte), solid-liquid-gas interfaces, electrocatalysis, etc. Insights garnered from this research enable novel materials synthesis, and efficient applications of materials in catalysis, batteries and other functional devices. The primary responsibilities for the successful candidate will be conducting cutting-edge in-situ and ex-situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM) experiments, batch synthesis of materials, data analysis, and publish the work timely. PhD or equivalent international degree. Preferred qualifications
