Salary Range: The starting salary is between $60,000 and $70,000, depending on experience. This position is eligible for bonuses with potential payouts three times a year and offers the possibility of earning six figures.



Responsibilities

Milton CAT is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative responsible for sales and rentals of forestry equipment products in our central/southern Maine. This role involves frequent travel to meet with valued customers, visit job sites, demonstrate equipment, and build relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses strong analytical skills.



Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

    Previous experience in field sales or a sales internship.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Ability to work on a team as well as independently.
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic.
  • Proven success in prospecting and developing a territory.
  • Ability to manage accounts and or territory.
  • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Ability to manage high volume workflow.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate basic financing with customers.
  • Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.), including utilizing customer relationship management system (CRM).
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer needs.
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Travel throughout the Milton CAT territory and outside of the Milton CAT territory as needed.
