Job Description: IS4S is seeking a talented and experienced Principal RF Engineer to join our team. In this role you will provide expertise while leading a team performing ITEAMS analysis and Foreign Material Exploitation associated with antennas and RF components on defensive weapon systems.

Typical activities include:

  • Working closely with the customer to understand and deliver quality products that accomplish their mission;
  • Coordinating multiple tasks, staff and subcontractors performing analysis;
  • Overseeing processes, measurements, maintenance procedures, operation procedures, and documentation to ensure quality analysis is performed;
  • Supporting analysis by providing experienced engineering insight that leads analysis efforts;
  • Interviewing and supporting the hiring of key staff to support this mission.


Candidates should enjoy analytical and technical efforts working under the direction of or in partnership with Government customers. They should possess experience relating to intelligence data processing and foreign material exploitation that will lead to rigorous products to meet and enhance the customer's mission. Candidates will work with others across Government and industry but should be self-driven problem solvers capable of executing tasks independently when expected.

Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

Candidate must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph

Applicants must clearly state citizenship and any active clearance in a cover letter or on the resume.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline and 20+ years of experience;
  • Experience with a variety of antenna designs used on ground and seeker systems;
  • Experience with tools for analyzing the performance or antenna systems;
  • Experience with using RF hardware to measure, test, and assess antennas and RF components;
  • Ability to mentor and provide task leadership;
  • US Citizenship. DoD TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance.



Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Prior experience with the intelligence community and tradecraft standards;
  • Experience with active phases array antennas;
  • Broad technical experience, including high-power antennas, transmitters, receivers-phased arrays, and signal processors.
