Essential Functions and Primary Duties



  • Regularly performs significant and recurring administrative tasks with a high degree of initiative and strong attention to detail.
  • Processes, scans and assembles client documents.
  • Maintains due dates for tax, assurance, and accounting work.
  • Creates engagement letters.
  • Composes correspondence from general instructions or independently on routine matters in a highly professional manner.
  • Proofreads documents to ensure accuracy of copy, grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Electronically tracks and saves returns according to Company guidelines.
  • Assists in administrative project planning, development, and execution of stated goals and objectives.
  • Provides break relief and serves as a fill in for the receptionist. Screens visitors and telephone calls and either notifies staff members or records and relays messages. Conducts visitors to proper offices and announces them.
  • Replaces toner cartridges and paper in area when needed.
  • Assists with meetings set-up and clean-up.
  • Assists with keeping the kitchen stocked and general cleanliness.
  • Obtains and conveys information as needed.
  • Assists other personnel as needed.
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
  • Performs miscellaneous clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Ensures work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Serves as backup for the front desk when needed.
  • Stays current with industry developments by participating of professional development activities and following up with assigned development plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our company values, beliefs and code of ethics.
  • Possess strong time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Demonstrates a positive, professional attitude and desire to advance.


Qualifications Required



  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in office environment and preferably performing as an administrative assistant
  • Must have knowledge of administrative procedures
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally


The hourly target for this job in this market is $26.44-$31.25. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.

The compensation above is not representative of an employee's total compensation.
