We are seeking a dedicated Memory Care Coordinator (MCC) to join our team at ProHealth Regency Senior Communities, a specialized memory care community, where residents enjoy meaningful experiences and personalized care.

What You'll Do:
As the Memory Care Coordinator, you will:

  • Develop and coordinate engaging 7-day program calendars, including signature events and resident-driven activities.
  • Build connections with residents by utilizing their life stories to create ability-centered, meaningful programs.
  • Partner with the care team to ensure residents' well-being, choice, and engagement.
  • Lead and inspire caregivers, modeling compassionate dementia care techniques.
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide team dementia education and implement emotional well-being strategies.
  • Coordinate special events, outings, and spontaneous activities that reflect our "Enjoy Life" philosophy.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Observing and adjusting programs to support each resident's highest level of function.
  • Managing supplies and resources to deliver top-tier resident experiences.
  • Maintaining open communication with nursing staff, care team members, and leadership to address resident needs and concerns.
  • Participating in ProHealth Regency Senior Communities meetings, monthly "Enjoy Life" initiatives, and service planning to enhance resident care.

What We're Looking For:

  • A passion for working with individuals with dementia and an ability to create memorable connections.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A creative mindset for developing innovative and impactful programs.
  • A background in leisure/recreational programming and dementia care is preferred (1-2 years of experience).
  • A willingness to complete the UWO dementia certificate program and engage in ongoing training.

Education & Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, climb stairs, and adapt to a quiet to moderate work environment.
