We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Lab Technician to join our White Bear Lake, MN team. You will work closely with the Research and Development team to lead product testing, assist with prototyping, and assist Design Engineers and Scientist to provide innovative solutions for our customers!

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • 3 -6 years of related laboratory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, JDEdwards, Statistical analysis tools (Minitab or C&E matrix)
  • Knowledge of testing equipment: mechanical, electrical and/or chemical

    You will:

    • Lead product testing to relevant requirements/standards and provide technical direction to other Lab Technicians as appropriate
    • Assist with prototype production, building test stands and recommend design improvements and testing methods to R&D department to improve organizations capabilities
    • Perform, analyze and accurate record test report data generated by R&D testing. Perform data analysis through plotting/graphing.
    • Follow safety provisions and 5S standards regarding Laboratory safety and housekeeping standards
    • Assist with ordering lab supplies, calibrating lab test equipment to meet ISO certification standards, and assist in RCCM (Root Cause Counter Measure) analysis for field failure and recommend corrective action

    Compensation:

    The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $24.00 - $26.00. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

    Position hours/shifts:

    • 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday (some flexibility)
