Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The VP, Paid Social Media Director had 10+ years' experience. Healthcare and Pharmaceutical experience a plus. They are responsible for working alongside the SVP, Group Director in making sure all Paid Social accounts are meeting industry and company standards. They are responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of the paid social media campaigns across all relevant platforms for Pharma DTC and HCP accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Client/Project Oversight: Oversee planning and execution across account, leading client relationships and delegating duties to junior team members for execution.
  • Operations Management: Oversee Paid Social activation, steward planning processes, and collaboration with other departments and network resources.
  • Resource Management: Manage team utilization, track revenue, and build staff plans.
  • New Business: Participate in RFPs and new business pitches and opportunities.
  • Strategy: Oversee paid social strategy across department and all clients.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee partnerships with paid social platforms, data partners, and agency stakeholders across integrated network.
  • Serve as paid social department lead across agency and network, leading client conversations and overseeing growth opportunities.
  • Lead paid social strategy, budget and media planning, forecasting, testing and ongoing data analysis and presenting results and insights to
  • clients and internal teams.
  • Develop, plan, coordinate, and oversee implementation of social media initiatives appropriate to achieve the intended objectives.
  • Participate in new business pitches and support network needs for paid social.
  • Strategize and create paid social media plans in accordance with budgeting, including ongoing project management.
  • Stay abreast of platform targeting and tactical offerings while ensuring highest standards for pharmaceutical advertising.
  • Interface with executive management and senior leadership across the network.
  • Craft POVs based on latest changes in social landscape.
  • Responsible for scoping and revenue tracking.
  • Work with marketing sciences to set benchmarks for industry comparison and build actionable KPIs.
  • Partner with marketing sciences to create, manage, report and optimize social media campaigns and determine best tracking methods for campaign reporting.
  • Prioritize and coordinate outbound social engagement opportunities, using through insights and analysis to develop tactics to amplify and grow client brand recognition and trust.
  • Develop cutting edge social strategies targeting Patient and HCPs across paid social platforms. that align with overall media strategy and support client objectives.

EDUCATION

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study is preferred

EXPERIENCE

10+ years in Paid Social Media marketing is required

Experience in Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals is required

Experience in Meta Blueprint is required

Salary
$160,000.00 - $215,000.00
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
