Seeking candidate in the tri-county area that is willingly to report to the Miami Lakes, FL Office periodically.
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining and administering assigned portions of the Bank's Compliance Management System which is designed to ensure that the Bank and its subsidiaries achieve and maintain compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

  • Assist with the execution of compliance program elements, including but not limited to, New Products and Services, Regulatory Change Management, Third Party Service Provider Oversight, Privacy and Marketing on a risk-based approach.
  • Assist with Enterprise Risk related compliance management activities for governance and risk management functions utilizing the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software platform.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk team to improve identification and assessment of compliance risks by optimizing the use of the Bank's Governance Risk and Compliance tool and enhancing related processes.
  • Maintain close relationships with line-of-business partners and provide guidance regarding compliance-related questions and self-identified first line issues.
  • Assist Compliance Manager as compliance subject matter expert, participating as part of assigned project working groups and reporting status periodically.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree required
EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 - 5 years of banking and/or regulatory compliance experience required
  • A portion of the required experience should include analytical skills with a financial institution required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • CRCM Certification preferred


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of applicable federal and state compliance laws and regulations.
  • Ability to develop and create organizational charts, workflows and process mapping documentation for complex business processes, including working with Operational Risk Management on risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) and compliance risk metrics/assessments.
