Job Summary

The Senior Integration Analyst will be responsible for building, testing, and providing ongoing support of all software interfaces supporting Emerson Hospital. Emerson Hospital has a progressive Information Systems department that is moving toward the goal of a totally integrated electronic medical record.

The Senior Integration Analyst reports to the Manager of Application, Services. The Analyst will work as a senior member in a team environment collaborating with a wide range of Information Systems staff, end-users and vendors.

The applicant must be able to manage complex projects and effectively communicate application/interface information, process changes, and technical requirements to all project stakeholders. The applicant must have knowledge of hospital applications, vendors, and strategies. Previous experience building and testing HL7 interfaces is required. Experience using MEDITECH, MEDITECH Report Writer, Summit interface engine, SQL and VB is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelors of Science in Business, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of five years information system experience, with two years in a healthcare organization required.
  • Licensure and/or Certification
    • None required
  • Skills
    • Requires positive interpersonal skills and customer support attitude.
    • Professional communication skills with the ability to teach/train others at all levels in basic and more complex computer systems.
    • Strong technical skills.
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
    • Ability to maintain confidential information.
