eCommerce Account Coordinator

GENERAL PURPOSE

The eCommerce Account Coordinator is responsible for fostering and managing relationships with eCommerce partners in commercial, IT and residential markets to drive revenue growth for Legrand AV. The successful candidate understands and leverages the inner workings of partner eCommerce websites to uncover opportunities for increased visibility, conversions and sales. This person works closely with eCommerce and digital marketing counterparts at partner accounts to build awareness of Legrand AV brands and drive incremental revenue through digital channels. The eCommerce Account Partner role needs a proactive, eager, and curious person who works closely with Legrand Marketing, Sales and eCommerce teams to drive demand and expand sales opportunities.

This person is responsible for executing ecommerce programs on partner sites, merchandising Legrand AV products based on customer buying and search behaviors, tracking the competitive landscape within our key partners, and ensuring high search result rankings on targeted key word lists. The successful candidate represents the brands of Legrand AV in partner business reviews that include eCommerce, and they prepare business results for key stakeholders. This candidate possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills and has a self-starter approach to account discovery and support as it pertains to growing Legrand AV's eCommerce business.

This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager. This role will work hybrid in our Eden Prairie, MN office.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage relationships with eCommerce partners, supporting their daily needs as well as working side-by-side to identify revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Work with third party vendors to deliver eCommerce products and services to partners.
  • Work closely with manager to stay aligned on new projects, initiatives and changes in the business.
  • Support the sales goals for partner eCommerce, striving for 5-10% growth each year.
  • Optimize product content for commercial and residential product lines for search and transactions on partner eCommerce websites. Regularly explore alternatives and options for process improvement to increase revenue growth and/or productivity.
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis to evaluate market trends and identify new eCommerce partnership opportunities.
  • Lead regular communications with internal and external strategic teams to align on brand priorities, customer needs, and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify clear and measurable key performance indicators for marketing initiatives with eCommerce partners, report metrics, and visualize data regularly to internal stakeholders.
  • Define requirements for digital marketing collateral, collaborating with Design teams to review, edit, and approve for implementation on partner platforms.
  • Develop effective external digital marketing programs to highlight Legrand AV product offerings and vertical-focused solutions based on relevant customer types.
  • Stay apprised of industry best practices as it pertains to new trends and technologies that could increase revenue tied to eCommerce initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Confidence developing and overseeing eCommerce-focused digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience cultivating new, strategic business partnerships.
  • Must be comfortable handling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of eCommerce Merchandising, search engine optimization (SEO) methodologies and best practices.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and be comfortable navigating structured and unstructured data through intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to translate concepts into deliverables.
  • Ability to represent work and team's work to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Merchandising or related field with 2 years of experience in eCommerce or Merchandising role and 2 years of experience regularly interfacing and managing relationships with external clients or customers; or a combination of relevant education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Product Management, and Marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in merchandising on B2B or B2C eCommerce platforms that have resulted in increased sales.
  • Extensive experience interfacing with Sales teams and external customer teams and/or accounts.
  • Experience in project management, or similar function. Cross-functional preferred.
  • Experience with PIM systems and/or content syndication tools.
  • Experience with CRM.
  • Working knowledge of reporting software and platforms, such as GA4 and Power BI.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • General office environment.
  • May require regular ground travel to other company facilities.
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed - not to exceed 10% travel.
