Overview
The Monaco Lab is exploring evolutionary conservation of noncoding gene RN7SL and its ability to splice between different copies on the same transcript to form large 'Jumbo' circRNAs encompassing protein coding genes involved in cellular stress, growth and development. What You'll Do This is a limited-term position that may not exceed 3 years. Under close supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Research Technician conducts a variety of routine molecular biology experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include performing RNA extraction, RT-PCR, nucleic acid assays, tissue culture, electrophoresis, and other laboratory techniques. May also record test results, analyze data using basic statistics, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and monitor animal colonies. Essential Functions:

Pay Range Minimum $20.10, Midpoint $23.90, Maximum $27.70 Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range. |
