THE JOB:

As a Senior Count Team Clerk, you will be responsible for the proficiency in operation of all programs and equipment used in the drop and count process. The Count Team is responsible for accurately and efficiently collecting and processing substantial amounts of currency from Table Games, Slot Machines, Poker Tables, and Kiosk machines. This role involves reporting and documenting all counts in accordance with Gaming and Company regulations, ensuring compliance and precision. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $19.50 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Support the collection of cash, tickets, tokens, and other revenue from slot machines, cashless wagering kiosks, parking kiosks, satellite banking kiosks, arcade games, and any additional machines or revenue areas as directed
  • Accurately perform tasks related to counting, sorting, strapping, racking, transporting, and recording all funds during the count process
  • Maintain expertise in the operation of all systems and equipment used in the drop and count procedures to ensure smooth operations
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, efficiently plan, and strategize to uphold a secure and effective operating environment for the count team in the absence of the Count Team Manager
  • Support the counting and processing of cash, chips, tokens, and tickets from all gaming and revenue areas
  • Assist in managing Count Team staff, including overseeing discipline, scheduling, training, and handling any other necessary tasks to ensure the success of the operation
  • Ensure the count room is kept clean, organized, and properly maintained at all times
  • Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of all drop and count equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Generate and maintain accurate data related to count team activities and operations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Nevada State Gaming Registration
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Lead or supervisory experience
  • One (1) year of previous cash handling experience, preferably on a count team
  • Experience working in a similar resort style setting
  • Working knowledge of 10-key and currency counting equipment
  • Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling
  • Knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
