What You'll Do Responsible for the design, construction, commissioning, and startup activities of capital projects Mentor electrical engineers and contractors, and oversee technology development, including budgets and resource planning Responsible for system upgrades in electrical power generation, distribution systems, low voltage, and electrical machinery Ensure well hook-up and medium voltage electrical system, installation, start-up, and commissioning are conducted safely and efficiently Work with the design teams to deliver seamless project construction work packages Interact with technical engineers and non-technical operations personnel to integrate new technologies and update existing systems Serve as the Electrical FE point contact for FE work within an assigned area Assist in maintaining Variable Frequency Drives, Programmable Logic Controllers, Instrumentation, Process computers and related equipment What You'll Need Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints and diagrams Practical knowledge of mechanical applications, electrical applications, and common industrial processes Proficient in MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint Experienced with field work and understanding the customer's needs Ability to work with in project scope and budget Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication Your Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline We are CMC, a Fortune500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
