Job Description:

PProvide Sr. Systems Engineering and Technical Support to the Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) Solution for use in Zero Trust Implementations. The candidate will work with an existing ICAM capability team (JBLOCKS) to define requirements, develop architecture, and design documentation, perform technology assessments, and support risk mitigation assessments. The candidate is expected to provide technical expertise in industry, federal, and DoD standards/policies as well as create and maintain ICAM Zero Trust documentation to include release notes, installation and user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and plans in accordance with Zero Trust mandates. The candidate should understand technologies like REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, Nifi, Single Sign-On (OAuth and SAML) in order to manage requirements definition across the integrated ICAM solution. Other duties include research technical topics and apply it to different improvement areas, author documentation on technical topics including detailing how to use and configure system components and advisory documentation to support ICAM installation and planning. Additional duties include researching and analyzing cloud security environments, identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services, defining implementation processes, and outlining hardware and software considerations. Must be able to assist the software developers with tracking and defining requirements, sprint planning/scheduling, design input/changes, and testing support.

The Level 3 System Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:



  • Experience with SW development methodologies
  • Ability to solve complex system/integration problems.
  • Experience briefing senior-level management
  • Familiar with AWS, Spring Boot, Java, Git, and microservices
  • Demonstrated engineering experience on programs with requirements, functional analysis, and allocation, conducting system requirement reviews, developing CONOPS and system architectures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in working with Software Development, Test Engineers, and System Administration teams to establish capabilities that meet requirements.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and brief technical concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Experience with developing program review materials
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be customer focused.
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA
  • Knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO and CUI Standards


Qualifications:



  • 15+ years of Technical Consultant experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • 5 years of additional TC experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 15 years.


Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph

Pay Range: 230,000-275,000
