As part of RAD, you will have a role on a winning team to invent the hardware and software and technologies of next generation computing platforms driving advancement in AI, scientific computing, gaming and graphics, and embedded applications. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: This role will involve profiling studies on AMD Instinct GPUs to understand data movement during major workloads such as AI, LLMs, and common HPC subroutines. You will be using the ROCm software stack and profiler tools to understand the impact that various common compute patterns have on network-on-chip utilization and device interconnects, including working on potential optimizations to improve this utilization through novel data orchestration techniques or device-level behavior changes. PLEASE HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILLS: (These will vary across different teams)
