WHAT TO EXPECT

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, managing a team of maintenance technicians, and implementing best practices to optimize plant operations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintenance management.

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

1. Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment repairs, to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.
2. Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness and efficiency in performing maintenance tasks.
3. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, work orders, and maintenance plans to meet production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
4. Monitor equipment performance, identify maintenance needs, and prioritize maintenance tasks to address critical issues and improve overall equipment reliability.
5. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
6. Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure timely availability of parts and minimize equipment downtime.
7. Ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental regulations, and maintenance procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
8. Analyze maintenance data, KPIs, and performance metrics to track maintenance effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.
9. Participate in budget planning, cost control measures, and optimization of maintenance resources to achieve cost-saving targets and improve maintenance efficiency.
10. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in maintenance management to drive innovation, enhance maintenance processes, and support business growth.

ABOUT YOU

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate/Technical Degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Hands-on experience that can take planning to the production floor for implementation
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software, CMMS systems, and asset management tools.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationship
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and reliability-centered maintenance concepts.
  • Certification in maintenance management, such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), is a plus
