Logistics & Supply Chain Site Manager The Logistics & Supply Chain Site Manager will serve as a subject matter expert in the field of data collection and inventory management, playing a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and readiness. This position involves conducting comprehensive data collection and equipment inventories to ensure accurate and timely reporting. The manager will perform expert analysis of performance-related metrics derived from various systems, evaluating their impact-both positive and negative-on readiness reporting and equipment accountability. Additionally, this role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions that enhance inventory management processes. Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Logistics & Supply Chain Site Manager: $70,000-$80,000
- Pay commensurate with experience.

Logistics & Supply Chain Site Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Provides detailed briefings to direct manager, report inventories and readiness, process improvements realized during the analysis, and the general condition of the using unit inventory accounts.
- Conducts analysis of inventory accountability-related findings; determine cause and effect relationships; and develop recommendations for corrective actions.
- Summarizes and reports findings on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, or as requested.
- Reports inventory accountability.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and address inventory discrepancies, ensuring alignment between inventory records and physical counts.
- Develops and implements inventory management strategies aimed at optimizing stock levels, reducing excess inventory, and minimizing shortages.
- Conducts regular audits and assessments of inventory processes to ensure compliance with established protocols and regulations.
- Provides training and support to team members on best practices for inventory management and accountability, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilizes advanced data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in inventory usage, enabling proactive decision-making.
- Assists in the development of inventory tracking systems and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
- Participates in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing insights into inventory trends and potential impacts on operational costs.
- Monitors industry best practices and emerging technologies related to inventory management to recommend enhancements and innovations.
- Acts as a liaison with suppliers and stakeholders to address inventory-related issues and improve supply chain processes.
- Creates and maintains documentation of inventory processes and procedures to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Logistics & Supply Chain Site Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Related bachelor's degree or 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, including roles with increasing responsibility.
- Working knowledge MS Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt to databases and new software systems.
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Ability to adapt quickly to new software applications and tools to streamline operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability & willingness to travel. Flexibility and readiness to travel as required to oversee logistics operations, meet with partners, or attend training and industry conferences.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams, overseeing operations, and driving performance improvements within a logistics environment.
- Experience in leading cross-functional projects that enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration and teamwork across departments and with suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions in a timely manner.
