Job Summary |
The Administrative Project Coordinator I will play an important role in assisting the Assistant Director of Institutional Success and Decision Support with a variety of tasks related to the operational management of the unit and provide administrative support for the Office of Institutional Success and Decision Support (
OISDS) staff. This position will report to the Assistant Director. |
Minimum Education and Experience |
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and three years of administrative experience, experience related to the project area or any equivalent combination of education and experience. |

- Bachelor's degree and experience working within a higher education environment
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

- Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy, and to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
General unit support includes assisting colleagues with:
- administrative assistance with data literacy program, Handbook of Operating Procedures (HOP) committee, and accreditation reaffirmation
- coordinating travel arrangements and reimbursements
- collection and preparation of business expense reimbursements
- assist the Assistant Director with the scheduling of cross-functional meetings with stakeholders
- attend university-wide meetings (HR Forum, Academic Senate, etc) and provide a summary of important announcements and/or OISDS-related action items that result from those meetings to unit colleagues
- maintain office supplies and organization of office suite
- submission of Pearl tickets for building access, keys, and computer access
- work order submissions to facilities management
- scheduling of Alpine Conference Room
- collecting and distributing mail
- maintaining and documenting computer inventory
- procurement activities: utilize procurement software to prepare, review, submit, and receive purchase orders
- event support
- administrative support to the AVPISDS when the Assistant Director is unavailable
- other duties as assigned

Remote Work This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, subject to manager approval. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days upon approval. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time. Individuals may be required to use personal computers and other standard office equipment in order to work remotely. The Academic Project Coordinator I must be located within the
DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus within 24 hours of notice.
