This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base California.
This position is not eligible for telecommuting.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise Logistics employees in the daily operations and scheduling of resources for Material Control and Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T) sections
- Ensure personnel are properly trained on Logistics processes, policies and regulations to personnel and provide guidance and direction to ensure quality and timely service
- Research part(s) availability in the Air Force Supply System and other Government Sources of Supply
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy of data between supply systems, specifically Cost Point, MAXIMO and Air Force systems
- Oversee support to Operations and Maintenance for processing requisitions to Base Supply to include Bench Stock, Forward Supply Point (FSP), custodian Account/Custody Receipt Listing (CACRL) duties / activities in Material Control.
- Monitor Program Funds Management Records (PFMR) balance and assure we report to customer when 75% expended
- Assure quality of data on Logistics Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliveries
- Support to government Contracting Officer Representative (COR) inspections for compliance to contract requirements
- Provide recommendations and changes to Logistics processes for review and consideration by Logistics management
- Review customer feedback with Logistics management on matters such as deliveries, pick-ups, turn-ins, repairs and shipments
- Gather daily production data on tasks performed by lower level personnel and compile information into reports/spreadsheets for generation of Logistics metrics to management
- Review Maximo activity of personnel to assure quality and quantity of work meets expectations
- Monitor Quality Assurance findings and take necessary preventive and corrective actions, as required
- Provide the Logistics Manager with input/feedback on work performed as well as scheduling and de-conflicting resource scheduling
- Monitor Engineering Project activities/work plans of personnel and assuring proper time charging
- Work in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and safety policies and procedures as appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:

Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or logistics related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years' experience with logistics/supply operations; experience with supervising or managing employees preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines, preferred
- Working knowledge of Logistics Regulations
- Familiar with DoD Supply System, preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
- Valid U.S. Driver's License

FOR CALIFORNIA ONLY:
The salary range for this role is $76,970 to $95,000 however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
