Summary The Tool & Die Maker III is expected to manually create and repair machine parts, tools and dies according to blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications. Will set up, maintain and operate tools and dies to shape parts to specific sizes and finishes. Will manually measure and use measuring instruments to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications. Will pay great attention to detail and will be responsible for the quality of each of the products machined. Essential Job Duties

Work Environment The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing environment that requires the use of personal protective equipment including steel toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Manufacturing areas may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. |
