Maintenance Team Leader


Location: Bordentown, NJ

Job Summary:

Lead the Maintenance Department to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency. Serve as a backup for the Maintenance Planner, utilizing SAP to review, prioritize, plan, schedule, and assign work orders. Collaborate with Production teams, prepare work permits, oversee lockouts, and confirm job completion with Mechanics, providing updates to the Maintenance Planner.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Supervise Maintenance Mechanics and Boiler Operators to ensure productivity, safety, and quality.



  • Manage call-in schedules and optimize departmental processes.



  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment repairs.



  • Maintain an up-to-date Preventive Maintenance Program. Identify recurring issues, determine root causes, and implement lasting solutions.



  • Ensure Preventive Maintenance tasks for ISO, PSM, and EHS equipment are completed as scheduled. Maintain related equipment files and assist with ISO compliance duties.



  • Monitor and control the Maintenance, Boiler House, and Utilities budgets.




  • Implement policies, procedures, and training to guide and develop Maintenance team members.



Experience:



  • Bachelors degree preferred, Associate degree or technical training required.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field, including supervisory or leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and boiler systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Preventive Maintenance Programs and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in environments with ISO, PSM, and EHS compliance requirements.



The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
