0.9 FTE - Day Shifts - Shifts Vary

Starting Pay - $18.01 to $22.52 (Based on Experience)

Qualifications:



  • Computer skills required
  • Medical terminology preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Previous switchboard experience preferred


Job Responsibilities:



  • Answers incoming calls in a professional, courteous manner and transfers calls appropriately.
  • Assesses and prioritizes emergency telephone calls.
  • Overhead pages clinicians, staff, and patients.
  • Maintains and updates reference material.
  • Utilizes TTY machine to communicate with hearing-impaired patients.
  • Attends education.
  • Other duties as assigned.
