  • Estimated annual base pay: $64,880.00 (minimum) - $81,100.00(midpoint) - $97,320.00(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Financial Analyst, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position reports to a leader within the finance organization. Responsibilities include performing financial analysis and business support in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and business needs. This position requires minimum supervision.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Analyze financial information - historical, prospective or hypothetical - to provide insights for the business regarding its performance, support business decisions, and plans for the future
  • Partner and communicate with stakeholders to gain understanding of their needs and to convey and interpret the results of financial analysis
  • Prepare formal financial presentation material that is to be delivered by finance and other leaders of the business
  • Develop and maintain financial models used for decision support, such as those used in the product life cycle process, capital expenditure justifications, and make vs. buy decisions
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and actively participate in lean improvement and six sigma projects
  • Represent the broader interests of the finance team by maintaining a general understanding of financial accounting, income taxes, treasury, and internal audit and driving appropriate consultation within and beyond finance
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and Bills of Material (BOM), and have a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Compile and analyze multiple sources of data to identify relevant information and determine the best course of action.

What We Are Looking For

  • US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
  • 2-5 years Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with cost analysis for proposals requiring Cost or Pricing Data (COPD) preferred
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 preferred
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality and awareness of continuous improvement principles through lean and six sigma tools
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel. General knowledge and comfort working with ERP systems.
  • Applies sound logic to problem solving, conveying an understanding of the business, the markets in which we operate, and general economic principles
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Is tactful in relationships with others
  • Ability to understand and execute planning and forecasting processes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial tools
  • International Locations: Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as across domestic and international functions and organizations
  • Strong team contributor. Demonstrates the ability to get along well with others
