Group/Division

The SensArray division is the world leading provider of in situ processing measurement and control solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides measurement and control solutions to both semiconductor fabs and mask shops to ensure that yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing SensArray business unit is dedicate to support customer R&D phase as well as HVM with in-situ thermal process control. SensArray business unit enable APC (Automated Process Control) to improve process optimization and yield improvement.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Our Engineering team is on the lookout for a dedicated and innovative Product Development Engineer to become a key player on our team. If you have a strong background in COMSOL modeling, especially within the heat transfer and structural mechanics modules, we want to hear from you! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and fine-tuning thermal models for semiconductor process chambers and sensors, taking on challenges in diverse environments such as vacuum conditions and plasma applications. Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply COMSOL Multiphysics for modeling heat transfer and structural mechanics in semiconductor applications.
  • Develop and analyze thermal simulations for semiconductor chamber boundary conditions, including vacuum environments and plasma power scenarios.
  • Apply mechanical design software (Creo or SolidWorks) to craft and develop modeling, prototypes and test fixtures.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to craft and optimize different chuck types and their thermal performance.
  • Responsible for conducting various tests and experiments on the prototypes and the final products.
  • Stay updated on semiconductor industry trends and technologies for product development strategies.
  • Prepare user documentation and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to partners.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide insights based on modeling results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated hands on experience in product development within the semiconductor or adjacent industry.
  • Proficiency in COMSOL Multiphysics (or ANSYS), specifically in heat transfer and structural mechanics modules.
  • Proficiency in Creo (or SolidWorks) software
  • Strong understanding of thermal modeling in semiconductor chambers, including vacuum and plasma environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and partnership abilities.
  • Proficient in user documentation and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and minimum of 1 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and minimum of 2 years related work experience;
