Do you have demonstrated experience overseeing raw material inventory for a fast-paced manufacturing plant, manage relationships with 125+ vendors, both domestic and international and utilize ERP systems for inventory tracking and optimization? - Track, audit and ensure accuracy of inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Manage the Inventory Control team to drive raw materials physical inventory accuracy.
- Manage the Receiving team to ensure accurate inbound materials processes.
- Monitor completeness, accuracy, and compliance during inventory transactions.
- Manage the E&O inventory and disposition.
- Execute cycle count schedule in compliance with corporate accounting objectives.
- Initiate & Implement root cause analysis, corrective actions, improvement techniques, & develop/modify processes
- Investigate, identify, and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies.
- Audit process and paper flow errors to spot inconsistences that lead to inaccuracy.
- Create assembly orders for required products to meet customer deadlines and manage the orders through the kitting process.
- Track productivity measures for all teams (kitting, inventory control) and update productivity spreadsheets and charts.
- Ensure team members are appropriately trained in their job functions and are adhering to the company policies and procedures, including compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Provide on-going coaching and mentoring.
- Responsible for always maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain and 3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Previous supervisor experience in hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating team members required.
Required Licenses
- APICS Certification preferred.
- Lean or Six Sigma training preferred.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Skilled in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Proficient in order processing systems and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
- Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively to groups of employees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in standard and non-standard situations.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task on several projects
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
