General Maintenance Mechanic - Full Time, 3rd Shift

Seeking a motivated General Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. Responsible for complete corrective and preventative maintenance on facility systems.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • Relocation package - $3750 for candidates living more than 50 miles away
  • 3rd Shift: 12:00am-8:00am
  • Starting hourly pay of $30.65, plus shift differential from 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
  • $3000 sign-on bonus, paid out in three $1k increments.
  • Overtime required and assigned on rotational basis.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Completes corrective and preventative maintenance on plant's processing equipment and support systems such as compressed air, steam, water, sewer, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots electrical problems and instrument controllers and installs conduit.
  • Fabricates, welds, and repairs a variety of materials found throughout the equipment and structure.
  • Disassembles and assembles plant equipment for cleaning repair and performs changeovers for production requirements.
  • Utilizes a CMMS to create and complete work orders and associated part transactions.
  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent, required.
  • 1-year degree in industrial maintenance, or related field, preferred
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Previous food manufacturing experience is helpful.
  • Organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to measure, inspect, and adjust machinery accurately.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and revise equipment manuals, policies, instructions, and schematics.
  • Experience with computers including CMMS, Microsoft, and PDF applications.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
