We are seeking a Structural Engineer to work as a member of our vertical structures team in our Hartford, CT office. Key Responsibilities Conduct independent field investigations and building assessments Design and specify structural systems for new building construction and renovations Utilize drafting software (AutoCAD and Revit) for project tasks. Perform structural analysis of building systems Review contractor submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements Conduct field visits to document existing conditions before and during construction Mentor junior staff on structural engineering tasks Coordinate with other trades and disciplines on project activities Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering; master's degree in structural engineering preferred At least 5 years of experience required, consulting experience preferred EIT certification required; PE certification preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Experience with design and drafting using AutoCAD and Revit Experience with concrete, steel, and timber design preferred Why You'll Love Working with Us: Schedule Flexibility: Customize your work schedule to fit your life.
