Comets Crew Leader - *Undergraduate Students Only*
**Please note this role is a temporary position and will be from August - September 2025**
A Comet's Crew Leader's primary role is to guide first-year and transfer students, facilitate Orientation Weekend activities, and create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Comet's Crew Leaders will develop meaningful relationships with others and engage in leadership development opportunities and skill-building.
Essential Duties:
- Serve as the first point of contact for new CSP students during Orientation
- Lead small groups of new students through a variety of engaging student events and activities
- Communicate with first-year and transfer students in a welcoming, friendly manner
- Create an inclusive and welcoming environment throughout Orientation by being attentive listeners
- Provide helpful information for new students as they transition to the learning environment at CSP
The ideal Comet's Crew Leader will encourage:

Qualifications:
- *Comet's Crew Leaders cannot be an RA*
- Currently an undergraduate student at CSP
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Have knowledge of CSP resources
- Desire to welcome new students to campus
- Be able to represent CSP enthusiastically and realistically
Length of Position:
- Comet's Crew Leaders must be available for the following days August 25th-September 1st
- Student Leadership Day: Monday, August 25th
- Comet's Crew Training: Tuesday, August 26th and Wednesday, August 27th
- Orientation Weekend: August 28th-September 1st
- Additional Orientation activities as assigned
- Training dates are subject to change
