WANTED: Cyber-Intel Analyst, Lead with a current and active TS/SCI clearance, along with excellent writing and briefing abilities to provide the technical literacy of critical DOD technology areas for DOD's OUSD Research & Engineering (R&E) sector support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). The work will be located in Columbia, MD.

As a Cyber-Intel Analyst, Lead you will:



  • Support cyber incident damage assessments, policy development, interagency coordination and process development.
  • Coordinate damage and risk assessments internally within OUSD R&E, with key stakeholders in the intelligence and counterintelligence communities.
  • Review and provide comments of key acquisition, cyber security, defense industrial base and national security industrial base related documents.

A week in the life of a Cyber-Intel Analyst, Lead:



  • Conduct comprehensive triage and analysis of compromised media.
  • Perform security duties as assigned.
  • Perform administrative support activities as assigned.
  • Interface directly with government customers.
  • Coordinate activities with other government teams and appropriate organizations to produce finished integrated products.
  • Evaluate complex data sets and query databases to identify issues.
  • Develop deliverables.
  • Perform other assigned tasks to ensure US technology development stays ahead of our potential adversaries.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent writing and briefing abilities.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • BS degree
  • Must have a current and active Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible)

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000.Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
