NV5 is currently seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer for in the Arlington, Virginia office. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with an understanding of building MEP systems design, operation, commissioning, and construction. The candidate will participate in the demonstration and documentation of the performance of the Building Systems, LEED process, troubleshooting analysis, facility condition assessment and energy conservation measure surveys, under the umbrella of commissioning, retro-commissioning, and re-commissioning. Responsibilities Work with Senior Commissioning Engineers and Project Managers (PM) for technical review and guidance and assist in the development and mentorship of Junior Commissioning Engineers. Using prescribed methods, and/or working from standard documents, perform specific and daily assignments. Apply standard practices and techniques in situations, adjusts and gathers data, and follows operations through a series of related steps or processes, including, but not limited to:
Perform basic calculations
