Position Summary The Country Program Coordinator (CPC) will primarily support the USAID Office of HIV/AIDS (OHA), Strategic Coordination and Communication Division as a Credence Institutional Support Contractor (ISC). USAID is at the forefront of U.S. Government (USG) efforts to combat the HIV pandemic. The Agency is a key partner in the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the largest ever commitment by any nation for an international health initiative dedicated to a single disease. OHA provides strategic guidance, technical leadership, and support to country programs, including providing direction on allocating financial and human resources and providing technical assistance on design, implementation, and monitoring of HIV programs. The Strategic Coordination and Communication (SCC) Division aims to provide support to USAID country teams and drive continuous improvement in program performance, position the Agency as a lead contributor among multilateral partners and as a thought leader and key implementer of PEPFAR within the USG interagency environment, and amplify USAID's HIV efforts both internally and externally. The Regional Advisors (RA) Branch sits within the SCC Division and serves as OHA's primary point of contact for USAID Missions seeking headquarters support for the full range of HIV programming. Through advocacy and coordination of technical and management assistance, the Branch works to ensure effective, outcome-driven HIV programming. RA Branch objectives include ensuring consistent, high quality support to USAID Missions, improving HIV-related coordination and collaboration within USAID Washington, promoting constructive engagement within the PEPFAR interagency space, and translating PEPFAR guidance into USAID action. Within the RA Branch, the Country Program Coordinator supports a portfolio of bilateral and/or regional USAID HIV programs and coordinates OHA's engagement with the USAID teams implementing them. The CPC supports program accountability and supports USAID Missions to operate effectively within PEPFAR. The CPC works closely with and complements senior OHA subject matter experts who serve technical and representative roles and regularly engages with in-country USAID HIV teams. The CPC works closely with the OHA Regional Advisors Branch Chief and performs the following major duties: Salary Range Full salary range for this position is $97,500 to $152,620 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
