Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an Exciting Potential Opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support the Southeast Veterans Health Care System.

Requirements:

Education: Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program
• Certification: Possess and maintains Tennesse certification as a certified nursing assistant.
• Experience: 1 year full time experience as CNA in the last 2 years
• BLS certification through American Heart Association

Duties:

• Transport patients to other clinical areas as needed

• Check each chart for the provider's signature, stamp, and each patient's diagnosis prior to returning the chart to Health Records.

• Administer medication to patients as directed.
• Obtain lab and x-ray results
• Assist with patient flow and give direct patient care as directed.

• Operate the following medical equipment, as directed, such as Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor, Hand Held Nebulizer, EKG Machine (12 lead)
