Join Cottage Health as a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst ensures the integrity of the budget, budgeting process and budget reporting for all entities. Major accountabilities include:



  • Maintains Budget Advisor Software so that it is always up-to-date and report-ready.
  • Runs reports for our customers and provides accurate, timely information. Ad-hoc, travelers, workload standards and all roll-ups and custom departmental reports.
  • Prepares annual budgets for all entities.
  • Monthly reporting including GL Detail, Variance reports & Revenue & Usage.
  • Quarterly outside reporting for the obligated group.



QUALIFICATIONS

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Minimum: A Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis or major in Accounting or equivalent work experience (8 additional years' experience in a fast paced accounting, reporting environment).

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum: Advanced MS Excel skills.

Preferred: Expertise in Excel and experience with computer systems/programs such as Infinium, Access, Eclipsys, Budget Advisor, Hospital Advisor, Market Advisor, OSPHD software.

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum: 2 years accounting experience Preferred: 5 years accounting/reporting experience
