Description |
Aurorium is seeking a motivated, collaborative and intellectually curious individual to join our Product Regulatory Team and support Auroriums portfolio of pesticide/biocidal actives and product formulations. |
Job Details |
Role Specific Responsibilities:
- Managing compliance of Aurorium's existing technical active and biocide/pesticide product registrations world-wide, including registration renewals, re-registrations, data call-ins, sales and production reporting, adverse effect tracking/reporting, product labeling, providing letters of data access and setting up supplemental distribution relationships
- Liaising with Sales and Marketing to support Aurorium customers and their registrations
- Developing, managing and participating in growth projects to expand Aurorium's global biocides business
- Acting as Aurorium's central point of contact for global pesticide/biocide national and state authorities, responding promptly to all Agency requests, acting as the primary contact for external inspections and performing internal compliance auditing
- Tracking global pesticide/biocide regulations with potential impact to the Aurorium product portfolio, keeping management apprised of upcoming changes
- Participating in technical consortia projects as assigned
Compliance:
- Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements
- Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly
- Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times
Problem Solving and Innovation:
- Active participation in continuous improvement activities
- Participates in problem-solving
- Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business
- Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members
- Exercises autonomy and judgement subject to overall direction or guidance
Qualifications/Desired Skills
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, biology, toxicology strongly preferred)
Experience:
- At least 5 years' experience working with US federal and state pesticide (FIFRA) regulations, Canada Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) regulations and the European Union Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR)
- Additional global jurisdictions are a plus
- Experienced project manager, with the ability to manage multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity, while adhering to budgetary and scheduling requirements
- Proven track record collaborating with cross-functional technical and commercial teams
