The Puyenpa family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. We are actively seeking a Word Processor III based in Norco, CA. This is a full time, onsite position. This position will require an active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting our contract at a United States Navy facility in Norco, CA.. The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Performs data entry, analysis, record management, and report generation from safety management information systems such as ServiceNow, Risk Management Information (RMI) and the Enterprise Safety Applications Management System (ESAMS).
  • Generates and formats monthly reports from ESAMS relative to training compliance, duty/task assignment, medical surveillance, and deficiencies and provides them to stakeholders.
  • Supports service ticket requests for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety services submitted in ServiceNow by validating completion of training requirements in ESAMS, fulfilling PPE orders from the supply storage, and providing notification to the customer. Regularly performs inventory of safety equipment to notify the safety team when requisition of supplies is needed.
  • Uses advanced technical skills to track performance and progress to analyze data and produce reports using provided database
  • Assists in the management and administrative upkeep of the Safety SharePoint Online (SPO) site by posting safety publications and consulting with safety specialists as subject matter experts for the purpose of developing new guidance to post on the Safety SPO site.
  • Assists safety specialists with coordinating programs relating to safety, ensuring they align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Records, drafts and formats minutes from safety meetings such as the Command Safety Council for review by the Safety Manager prior to routing.
  • Posts documents on safety bulletin boards. Posts deficiency notices at their respective location.
  • Provides records management support on the internal Safety SharePoint.
  • Drafts and/or reviews documents based on input from safety professionals and command guidance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers


Skills & Experience Required:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Strong MS office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT) experience and data entry is required and willingness to learn new software
  • Thorough, organized and systematic in approach to work
