Job Title: Electrotechnical Maintenance Technician Lead-Days

Location: Bethel, PA

Shift: Days

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Lead you will be responsible for managing the Maintenance Technicians in maintaining proper functioning of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production and plant equipment.

Responsibilities



  • You will perform troubleshooting on Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems.


  • You will be on call for emergency repairs in breakdown situations as necessary.


  • You will be able to accurately read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.


  • You will perform preventative maintenance (i.e., conducting computerized preventative maintenance check-ups or reading SPC charts and data) as needed.


  • You will ensure proper function of the line manufacturing support systems (line/lube delivery, resin delivery, process systems, operational support.)


  • You will maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees; notifying them of problems and/or concerns that may restrict production efficiency.
  • You will coordinate and perform repairs on equipment as necessary.

  • Be knowledgeable of safety requirements and guidelines in manufacturing/warehouse environment.


  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.


  • Follow all safety rules and procedures established by the company.


Environment



  • Exposure to moving equipment
  • Inside work
  • Heat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Humidity may exceed 80%
  • Noise may exceed 85dB+
  • Personal Protective Equipment required



Physical Characteristics



  • Frequent standing, stooping
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Occasional sitting
  • Occasional typing/keyboarding



Position Type



  • Full time
  • Overtime expected per business demand.



Shift



  • 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday
  • Weekends and overtime as needed



Education and Experience



  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)


  • Associate's or Technical School Degree in Mechanics, Electrical, Computer Science, preferred.
