Corrpro Companies is looking for a Director of Sales for Water Infrastructure in our Western US Region. Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro Companies is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.
- Grow sales of cathodic protection products and services primarily within the water infrastructure market
- Actively grow your own major accounts through direct technical sales while leading sales staff
- Lead the development and ongoing execution of sales and marketing strategies for water infrastructure
- Create long and short term sales objectives to increase market share, client win rate, outstanding orders and profitability
- Analyze the effectiveness of sales programs and processes; recommend and implement changes based on findings.
- Lead the development of relationships with potential customers to nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish growth targets
- Ensure strong relationships with existing customers and distributors through regular meetings and communication to maintain and grow sales opportunities
- Recruit, develop and manage a strong industrial sales team to ensure attainment of company targets
- Ensure the implementation and use of Salesforce, our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Tool
- Build strong working relationships with internal customers and effectively partner with Operations to grow the business
- Assist in annual budget planning and monitor expenditures throughout the fiscal year
- Generate sales forecasts and track progress of sales versus budget targets
- Coordinate product and service pricing and project logistics with department managers
- Partner with Sales staff on project opportunities outside the local region
- Attend Trade Shows and use other marketing techniques as needed to promote company products and services
- Actively research market developments to identify business opportunities for Corrpro's product and service offering
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related field
- 10 years of sales experience, with water infrastructure clients preferred
- 5 years sales management experience including recruiting, developing and leading a sales team
- Direct technical sales experience with an emphasis on major accounts
- Must have or develop an extensive knowledge of Corrpro Companies products and services
- Team oriented person with ability to develop a cohesive team environment between departments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and customer service skills are a must
- Ability to work with all levels of management both internally and externally
- Must be able to freely travel across the territory extensively
- Experience working with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software and Salesforce (or other CRM)
