ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures all standardized recipes are utilized and followed.
- Adhere to all food safety procedures and guidelines.
- Able to estimate the daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Assist with food delivery check in for quality and quantity
- Ensure proper freezer and stock labeling and rotation on food items/ingredients.
- Follows property opening and closing procedures for venue.
- Coordinates daily tasks with manager.
- Covers off days when needed.
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment
- Ability to cross train to all kitchens and outlets on property
- Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks
- Ability to lift and move 40-50 pounds
- Availability to work required shifts, including weekends/holidays
- Maintain and set sanitation, hygiene and safety standards
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
- May be responsible for cashier responsibilities, if assigned to a mobile/QSR outlet
- Other duties as assigned
- Opens shifts and prepares the venue for planned volumes.
- Coordinates daily tasks with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
- Covers off days for Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
- Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
- Must lift and move 40-50 pounds.
- Must work required shifts, including weekends/holidays
- Maintain and set sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- May be responsible for cashier responsibilities, if assigned to a mobile/QSR outlet.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Previous work experience in a professional kitchen is a MUST!
- One plus years of experience in food service environment
- Must possess advanced knife skills, knowledge of all kitchen equipment usage, kitchen safety, and etiquette.
- Must place an emphasis on a high level of guest service and give the best service possible
