Description

SUMMARY:

A Security Officer safeguards all Team Members, guests, and company assets by standing a vigilant watch over their designated area and the resort.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  1. Enforces all company policies, procedures rules and guidelines.
  2. Responds to all assignments as dispatched or directed.
  3. Provide assistance, information and service to guests and Team Members.
  4. Conduct safety checks of Hotel Tower, Stairwells, Parking Structure, and outside perimeter.
  5. Respond to Lost & found calls.
  6. Performance Occupancy Counts for various venues within the Casino
  7. Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor.



If working Casino Patrol:



  1. Handles all monetary transactions between the Cage and Gaming Tables in compliance with Gaming regulations and as requested by Management.
  2. Distributes Gaming table cash boxes and handle box pulls for count team.
  3. Provides escort for slot drop, stand-bys, etc. as needed.
  4. Provides a visible guest service presence on the Gaming floor.

None.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Officers must be knowledgeable of all Company policies, procedures, rules, and guidelines including fire and safety regulations. Regular scheduled attendance required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess and be able to maintain any applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or required license(s).

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, business correspondence and communicate via radio.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related computer applications.

REASONING ABILITY
