ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accurately performs transactions at the counter for patrons of the casino, including but not limited to cashing checks, redeeming chips or slot machine tickets, accepting marker payments.
2. Processes required paperwork for Title 31, credit applications, Central Credit reports and marker issue/payments
3. Must have a working knowledge of and to be able to comply with all requirements for the bank Secrecy Act.
4. Must maintain a polite, professional and courteous manner at all times while dealing with customers and team members alike
5. Must be knowledgeable about information pertaining to floor promotions, entertainment, and local shopping/dining options.
6. Must be able to courteously enroll guests in the Tropicana Advantage Players Club while explaining details and benefits of club membership
7. Other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

NONE

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year of experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to speak, write and understand English

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have basic computer skills including 10 key, proficient in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in the following a plus, Super Playmate, Pitboss, Quickets, FabiCash, Certegy.

REASONING ABILITY

Planning, remembering details, Using arithmetic, Reading, Directing Others, Working Rapidly, Working at Various tempos, Concentrating Amid Distractions, Remembering Names and Faces, Examining and Observing Details.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
