Steward - Banquets

STARTING WAGE: $9.75 PER HOUR

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, cookware, and silverware
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
• Sweep and mop all floors in kitchen area to ensure they are free of food and water
• Stock all food areas with necessary inventory
• Bag and haul trash to dumpster at designated times
• Inspects kitchens, workrooms, and equipment for cleanliness and order
• Reports shortages and requisitions replacement of equipment
• Follows the Thoughtful Service model at all times
• Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as Tropicana Evansville's internal controls, policies and procedures
• Must be available for regularly scheduled work and able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends
• Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: No previous restaurant experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
