* Welcomes each guest with a smile and personalized greeting. * Acknowledges each guest as they are leaving with genuine appreciation. * Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance. * Maintains a businesslike, professional attitude at all items. * Has a working knowledge of the menu, promotions, special events, and other pertinent information. * Seats guests in such a manner that they receive the best service possible. * Answers telephone inquiries as per company policies. * Helps bussers set and clear tables. * Contributes to general housekeeping in such areas as the floor in foyer; windows/glass in front; host stand area; maintenance checklist; menus and menu covers. * Knowledgeable of the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures. * Must be able to lift to 25 lbs.; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs. * Ability to learn and utilize computerized reservation/seating/paging system. Must be able to learn and operate a Point-of-Sale system. * Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours). * Must be able to understand and communicate in English. * Comply fully with the company's safety policies and procedures. * Always follow the Company Service Standards model. * Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
