STARTING WAGE: $16.00 PER HOUR

Essential Job Functions:



  • Perform specific surveillance duties in accordance with established procedures, to protect the integrity of Tropicana Evansville operations, as well as the security and well-being of customers, employees and company assets
  • Report all illegal and/or unusual activities to the Supervisor
  • Operate all surveillance equipment, including, but not limited to, the network system, monitors, computers and cameras as assigned. Use of spreadsheets, databases, word processing programs required
  • Observe report and record all daily casino and land-based activity using closed circuit television monitors to identify, illegal or unusual activities occurring on property
  • Work in partnership with the Security Department to ensure protection of customers, employees and company funds and assets
  • Prepare and complete all daily activity reports and incident reports as required and directed by Surveillance Management
  • Perform all duties and follow all instructions as assigned by Surveillance Management
  • Safeguard all confidential information and maintain department confidentiality
  • Knowledge of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as Tropicana Evansville internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs
  • Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends
  • Must be able to work in an environment with second hand smoke and loud noises
  • Must be able to sit in a quiet environment for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to visualize distance, color, depth perception and adjust focus
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned


Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming Commission License.

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. You must be proficient in computer skills and knowledge.
