Unit Quality TA1 Final Inspector Reports To Unit Quality Team Coordinator Division 2. JOB PURPOSE The Unit Quality Final Inspector inspects Honda products to guarantee that all products meet the established Honda quality standards and specifications. 3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform visual inspection on our products Confirm RPM's to required specifications, adjust if needed Adjust Wheel Speed to required specifications Approve finished products by confirming specifications are met Reject products for re-work that do not meet the Honda requirements or specifications Confirm re-work products as needed Use measurement tools, Go/No Go and push/pull gauge when needed Perform daily quality torque and performance checks 4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS * High School Diploma/GED equivalent Minimum Experience * 1+ years in Manufacturing Other Job-Specific Skills * Quality inspection experience * Mechanical experience * Problem solving skill set * Good communication skills 5. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS *Safety *Quality *Job Performance/Attendance *Teamwork/Communication 6. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING * Unit Lead * Team Lead * Team Coordinator External Contacts 8. DECISIONS *Define and judge acceptable quality standards for products produced by factory (NCM) *Confirmation of repair methods due to quality concerns with finished products *Distribution of Unit resources for special projects 9. COMPETENCIES *Safety - Performs role in a safe manner. Follows safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment (PPE) *Quality - Follows operation standards and does not create any defects. *Attendance - On time for work and uses vacation time to cover absences. *Job Performance - Delivers quality results, performs job in an acceptable manner, follows operation standards. Meets output standards, minimizes waste, demonstrates concern with costs and operation Teamwork - Gets along well with co-workers, works through conflicts 10.
