Do you want to make a difference in the lives of veterans and their families? As a Veterans Financial Case Manager, you will help veterans served by the SSVF team (Supportive Services for Veteran Families) find and secure housing, apply for benefits, and improve their financial literacy. You will work with each veteran to assess their financial and housing needs, identify goals, and then provide case management to meet those goals. You will walk them through the application process for VA benefits, social security, and other resources and services that may be applicable. Building knowledge is essential to ongoing stability, so you will help veterans with their financial needs through one-on-one coaching on budgeting, monthly orientations for new clients, and an annual workshop at VA hospitals on financial literacy.
