Sr Financial Analyst

Description

Essential Duties:



  • Prepares financial reports required by management
  • Provides analysis and write-ups of financial results on monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Supports in budget/forecast/flash preparation and submissions
  • Compiles and summarizes financial and operational data monthly to report to management or department heads

    • Uses Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle GL and SAP BPC to develop financial reports




Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • BS / BA degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA not required) OR equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • 3+ years of relevant FP&A experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Requires the ability to obtain a TWIC Card issued by the Department of Homeland Security
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid experience in financial writing (similar to MD&A section of 10K's)
  • Experience with Oracle, BPC, or similar financial systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Customer service orientation and leadership/influencing skills
  • High level of planning and organizational skills
  • Requires the ability to plan and organize multiple projects in fast paced environment that requires flexibility and agility
