We are seeking highly experienced Senior AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrators to support our operations in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AWS cloud systems and operations to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of cloud-based infrastructures. This position requires advanced skills in AWS SysOps, a deep understanding of cloud best practices, and compliance with DoD IAT Level II certification standards. Location: San Antonio, TX Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI Overview: We are seeking highly experienced Senior AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrators to support our operations in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AWS cloud systems and operations to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of cloud-based infrastructures. This position requires advanced skills in AWS SysOps, a deep understanding of cloud best practices, and compliance with DoD IAT Level II certification standards. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain AWS cloud environments for mission-critical applications. Perform cloud system administration tasks, including monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting. Optimize system performance and reliability while adhering to DoD security policies. Automate routine operational tasks using cloud-native and third-party tools. Conduct system audits and create detailed reports to ensure compliance with security standards. Collaborate with engineering and security teams to design scalable solutions. Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area to include web applications systems integrations. A bachelor's degree in related field required. A master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience. Three (3) years of recent and relevant experience with DoD AWS cloud integrations, microservices and container platforms (such as but not limited to Docker, AWS EKS, etc). Must have at least two (2) of the following trainings and certifications. Four (4) years proven relevant experience may be substituted as applicable to each certification. AWS Solutions Architect Professional AWS DevOps Engineer Professional AWS SysOps Administrator Associate AWS Advanced Networking Specialty Certifications: AWS SysOps Administrator certification. IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)
